Similar to the little black dress the smoky eye is a timeless classic. Many women choose to bypass this look simply because it seems too hard! We asked Skinn Cosmetics make-up artist Sina to demonstrate how to achieve this smouldering look!
- First apply the orchid gel primer, work the product into the face using fingers. Sina recommends using the fingers to warm up the gel, this will help work the primer into the skin more easily. Start by working the primer into the t-zone. This non-drying fomula is enriched with Orchid flower Extract to help provide hydration to the skin and minimise the look of pores.
2. Apply one pump of the Skinn Plasma Fusion Serum foundation to the back of the hand, using the Skinn foundation brush, rub the brush in a circular motion over the foundation. Apply the foundation to the t-zone of the face moving towards the hairline and over the forehead. Keep blending the product into the skin for a natural all over finish. Using your ring finger apply the Bright Eyes Enhancing Treatment under the eye to cover dark circles and imperfections.
3. Choose a light eye shadow colour from the Rosette palette to act as a fresh canvas on the eye, add a light rose tone to freshen up the face and add definition to the eye. Add a darker colour under the eye socket bone to add definition to the eye. Using the eye shadow brush, sweep a little colour under the eye. To create the smoky eye effect, use a cotton earbud to gently smudge out the line. Add a swish of mascara to the lashes to add a dramatic finish.
4. Add a pop of colour to the lips with the Hollywood Lip Palette, remember to choose a shade that compliments your skin tone!
